Who we are

Wild Flowers is an intentional, home-based toddler program rooted in the belief that young children thrive when they are met with trust, rhythm, and respect. We honor early childhood as a time for movement, wonder, and meaningful connection, where children are given the space to explore, create, and grow at their own pace.

Inspired by Waldorf and LifeWays North America, our days unfold gently with open-ended play, time outdoors, and shared meals. We focus on nurturing the whole child-head, heart, and hands, while supporting independence and confidence in a calm, loving environment.

Wild Flowers was created by Kalindra Gilkeson, a mother of two and an early childhood educator with a background in Waldorf education. This program was created to bring back the magic and simplicity of toddler care.

We are honored to support the families in the Goleta and Santa Barbara communities during this tender and important stage of childhood.
